15 years ago Helen & Kevin Tranter set up Ace Foam as a small partnership business dealing in foam conversion.

Having worked in the industry previously, Kevin decided that there was a gap in the market and that he would set up his own business. With the help of Helen on the Administration side, the business has gone from strength to strength.

At this present stage the business has grown into a company dealing not only in the Industrial sector of the market but also the Commercial market. Ace Foam supplies foam cushions for the average home maker which can be custom made along with supplying packaging for computers.

Over the years, Ace Foam have set up a strong customer base. Now with their own site and 4 different cutting machines the business has been allowed to flourish. Kevin is highly involved in all the physical aspects in the fabrication of the products and has staff members dealing not only in the production but also in the recycling of any waste products created from each order. Any waste is sent straight back to the manufacturer and then made into reconstituted foam.

The services that Ace Foam provides ranges from the basic foam used in a cushion and other upholstery, which can be cut to shape, to large volumes of foam for commercial seating for hotels and conference halls. The clients of the company range from small companies, Industrial clients using the foam for sound insulating machinery and of course the public, who are always made welcome.

Ace foam provides a realistic price, extremely good service and will also recycle any foam brought in by customers, be it old or off cuts.

Helen and Kevin believe that the quick service they provide along with their attitude to customer care is the reason why the company has grown steadily over the years.

With the company based so centrally the company has benefited from business from Shropshire and the Midlands but being so close to the M54 they also get business from north and south of the country.
